Parking Message
Due to limited space and lighting at Connaught, please follow the parking flow map and instructions below:
Enter via Vickers Gun Rd, then turn left on Brouillette Blvd
Drop-off/pickup occur on Brouillette Blvd after Lewis Gun Rd (near squadron HQ).
For pickup at the end of the night, park in the parking lot (not on Brouillette Blvd). Use caution when exiting the parking lot.
IMPORTANT: Exercise caution and patience when driving in this area, as there are many cadets in the parking lot.

Activity Thursdays

Participants: All cadets.

Location: Connaught CTC, 5 Brouillette Blvd, Nepean, ON K2K 2W6
Dress:
C5, Field Training Uniform (FTU); or
appropriate civilian attire (example: black pants, white shirt or polo, black shoes);
Note: If you don’t have the FTU boots, cadets can wear an alternate pair of black shoes or boots.
Sports:
Sports wear including sport shoes
Suggestion: wear your sport pants under your FTUs to making the change of dress easier
Music
Participants: All cadets interested in playing in the band
Date: Sun, 1 Oct 23 (and all Sundays afterwards)
OPI: Warrant Officer Driscoll
Time: 1300 to 1600 hrs
Location: 16 Spitfire Private (near the airport)
Dress: blue squadron t-shirt, or black bottoms and white top
Material to bring:
a musical instrument;
If you don't have one, see WO Driscoll on Thursday during training to sign one out.

Online Ground School:

Deadline to register is Thu, 14 Oct 23.
Administration:
Annual Validation: The forms have been distributed and are to be completed and returned to CI Moy before Oct 5.
Code of Conduct: The forms will be distributed this Thursday. They are required to be read, understood, and signed by the cadet and parent. These forms are to be returned to CI Moy before Oct 12.
Absences: If you are unable to make it to training, fill out this form before your planned activity to be marked as excused.
Cadet365 Accounts
1. Cadet365: Cadet365 is a collaborative platform for Cadets and Adult Staff across Canada. The suite provides access to familiar products like Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Planner, OneNote and OneDrive.
2. Intro Course: Cadets must complete the introductory course regarding the use of Cadet 365 once they activate their account.
3. Get help: Returning cadets should contact Administration Officer Civilian Instructor Ed Moy if they are experiencing issues.
4. Newly Registered Cadets: They will automatically receive their account information at the email address on file once they are created.

706 Canteen
Bring your spare change, purchase a snack and support 706. Your snack cravings go directly support cadet activities.
Drivers
All drivers are reminded of posted speed limits on Connaught: 50 km/h on Malibar Blvd, 30 km/h in all other areas. Speed limits are strictly enforced by Military Police.
Air Cadet League of Canada - Scholarships
The Air Cadet League of Canada and its donors invite cadets to apply for 2023 post scholarship awards for flight training. Two scholarships are available:
Continuation Flight Training Awards (CFTA); and
Flight Training Achievement Awards (FTAA)
